I have a mech fuel pump. I carry an electric that could be plumbed in in 15 minutes. Would you put the electric before the mechanical or after. If before, the return line might just cycle the gas back to the tank and have to be pinched off. Plumbing after the mech should be able to draw through the mech pump. So i guess either way would work.

5. can of fix a flat
6. electric fuel pump (make sure it easily plumbs into existing fuel line and has leads wired and ready to go)
7. rubber fuel line
8. rear spindle housing setup
9. spare bearings
10. JB weld
11. wire
12. duct tape & elect tape

Tire kit (small pump, slime, plugs), small standard ratchet/socket set, 2 std open end wrenches, extinguisher, jumper cables, small channel locks.
Honestly that lasted me for 2 years using the car as a DD. Thing that saved me the most times were ratchet set/jumper cables.
I don't carry a spare as I have larger new rims, but hopefully if I ever get a flat (haven't had one in 9 years, knock on wood!) the slime+pump+plugs get me to a tire place.
Oh I also have roadside assistance! Best $3/month I've ever spent on the vette.
I am curious where you put all that stuff? I can barely fit the extinguisher + ratchet + jumper cables in my storage bin.

You need the phone # for your favorite towing company stored in your cell phone, one that your insurance company will reimburse you for. Make the call, chug the six pack while smoking the cigar. Make plans for the fix on the ride home, while smoking another cigar, if the tow truck driver lets you smoke in the cab.
I made a trip to Florida in my old 77 GMC 4X4 when I was 20. I had a spare engine mounted in the bed, I also took along all the tools needed and a come a long winch. I never had to swap the engine but I did use several cans of STP on the trip. I sold the truck when I returned. Al
