Aluminum heads & intake, about 70lbs?
Fiberglass rear leaf spring about 30 lbs?

remove the spare tyre and carrier, probably about 70lbs there.

and any tools and un-necessary items in your storage compartments.
You might be surprised how much that will save.

Do you have alloy wheels? or steel?
Big reduction in weight with lighter alloy rims and modern tyres, rather than the old steel rallyes with tall thick sidewall tyres.

Of course there's also the possibility of going on a low carb diet too

I never weighed my stock exhaust vs hooker side pipes, but I bet there is a weight savings by changing the exhaust.

Light alloy wheels, vinyl seat covers vs. leather. Lose the catalytic convertor and factory exhaust, true duals can weigh less. Budget willing, switch to alloy brake calipers. I believe steeroids weigh less than factory steering. Tubular a-arms can weigh less than stockers. Remove the factory sound deadener from under the carpet. Get a lighter steering wheel. Consider each component in the entire automobile and ask if it is really required, then if there is a suitable alternative which weighs less. Use any or all that won't break the bank.
