The pulley system may or may not fit, the headers may or may not fit, and if it's fuel injected you will have to do some work on the fuel system. I can't comment on the other specs because I'm not an engine builder.

106 LC might make a FI very tough to dial in because of it's radical idle and no vacuum

i have concerns about the cam on the street, the motor came out of a 68 camaro, the motor and fuel injection have been dyno tuned, but that cam hits alick. trying hard not to open the motor, only about 500 miles on it.

I would step down on the cam for sure,....especially if you will use an OD tranny. Maybe something around 235/245@ .050 if you stay with a FT solid. Not sure what gears you're running, but in any case a shortened cam timing would work better for you.

The transmission will need some beefing up if you want it to last.....I went through three with my 406.

thanx for the replys, the trans. has been rebuilt and should handle 500hp, the car is undergoing a frame off rebuild, just trying to use some parts that have been sitting. if i change the cam i will be tempted to change the heads as well. maybe i should just go a different direction on the motor?

Not a very street friendly cam but you should know how it feels on the street if you have already driven it 500 miles ? ( I understand it was in a different car )

yes the motor came out of a 68 camaro, I bought the motor out of the car, so i don't know what it drives like, it was part of a motor swap. i have been thinking of building an engine test stand anyway maybe i can fire it up, to many projects and not enough energy. thanx
