I have a 502 so I have no choice but to use an electric fuel pump. The one I had died a couple weeks ago and it was noisy as hell anyway. Any suggestions? I don't need a race pump since I really don't drive it very hard.

Aeromotive Street and Strip with an Aeromotive Speed Controller is a suggestion. The speed controller doesn't apply full DC electrical power to the pump until engine rpm's reach 2500. This allows the pump to run slower at idle and cruise and reduce noise. The 2500 rpm full power point can be adjustable. Also, when the engine stops turning, the controller disconnects electrical power to the pump.
I installed mine in the rear of the car near the fuel tank outlet.
Like jimvette999 and DRIVESHAFT I have used both of the above Mallory pumps. They are both quiet. The MAA-4110 has an internal bypass and is regulated to 7 psi. The MAA-4140 requires an external bypass regulator. The MAA-4110 would work fine for your application.
i bought the edelbrock one that summit sells for 150 bucks and does not need a regulator. I had a fuel pump rod issue and was forced to convert to an electrical pump, I just rebuilt the motor and went back to the stock pump. This pump has less than 600 miles on it and comes in the box with the mounting brackets and some spacers to mount it right off the tank and a short solid line to plumb right into the rubber hose coming off of the tank. This pump is the quitest pump i have ever seen, $75 delivered
Do you have part numbers for the aeromotive, also should I replace my fuel line from the tank (75 with a ZZ502 for street use. If so what size do I need? thanks
