Hey Guys,
A couple years ago, I found a switch dangling beneath my car. I pulled on it and it became unplugged. I didn't know what it was at the time, but I believe its the headlight buzzer switch. I finally pulled it out of my misc stuff today and even found the other half of the plug (still dangling from the fuse box). My question is... once I plug it back in, where does it go?? Here's the link to what I'm talking about to make things more understandable. http://dalekd.tripod.com/switch.htm
That was under the hood (where the pic is taken), or under the dash (your reference to the fuse box)? Let me know and I will look at my 77 and see if I can find it. Doesnt look familiar, so Im not even sure I have one either, but I will look.
I think it attaches to your headlight assy. Check out the AIM for the location. When you turn off your headlights, they rotate closed and make contact with this switch. If they don't, you have a red warning light / buzzer on your dash.
