Parts interchangeability
I am doing AC work and need a condenser. the part numb. is 3028820 i think this part cost 175+ at the local stores and zip. what i was wondering if i could find one from a salvage yard, but from another make or model. (there are no vettes around here. thanks for the help.

the car has a crate 454 chevy engine with no AC parts other than the evaporator in it so what is stoping me from installing and condensor, dryer, and compressor from any big block chevy.? is there any problems with switching them all out as long as the match?
