Haven't done a C3 yet, getting ready to build a air bagged c3. on past cars the ride is 2nd to none. being able to drop it when parked is a plus. The only thing on a c3 is rear and how to set it up I would call Air ride and see what they have, or have done

Plus I see the c3 frame to me is going to need stiffened alot I can see alot of flex in them when bagged exp if its a roadster. They flex alot stock even with alot of horspower, but the air ride is going twist the frame when out of air and will cause the door to get out of aligment. I have had this happen on street rods that were roadster bodies

I didnt think that flexing would be an issue on a c3 being the body sites on a big piece of steel. I could see a vert might have a problem,I know they make one for a c3 there a little pricy, figure I ask if anybody had one

the pro's are it looks good parked and rides ok , the cons are its alot of trial and error as no one makes a straight bolt in kit , the ride is ok , the front is fairly straight foreward , similar to any 60s chev . with the rear i bolted the bags on the diffs mounting crossmember and used 2 leaves of the original spring , the spring was flexing too much so i fitted a heavier spring and relocated it further back , now the ride is a bit harsh and with the longer hanger bolts the spring sits close to the tyres , im going to get another spring made a little shorter and a little thinner .
