I have to buy a new alu intake.
I am thinking about Edelbrock 7501 or 2701 (or?)
The engien is a 350 11:1 (L46 engine from 69) with Brodix IK180, Roller lifters, Comp cam 12-433-8 and Rocker 1,6
There needs to be at least about 3/4" clearance over the Holley vent tubes.
The PRM would be better however there is not enough clearance for a proper setup RPM under stock SB hood 68-72.
The LT-1/BB hood is really the minimum for the SB high rise intakes.

2701 is for a square bore carb.- will not work w/ Q-J.
2601 Air Gap will.

Edelbrock 2601 SB-Chevy 262-400ci 1955-86
SB-Chevy 262-400ci 1955-86
Designed for 1955-86 262-400 c.i.d. small-block Chevys, the Performer Air-Gap features the air-gap design for the ultimate street performance in the idle to 5500 rpm range. This design features an open air space that separates the runners from the hot engine oil resulting in a cooler, denser charge for more power. High-velocity runners deliver excellent throttle response throughout the power band. The great looks of the Performer Air-Gap along with the solid idle to 5500 rpm performance makes this an ideal choice for street rods and street machines. No provision for exhaust heated chokes or exhaust crossover. For spread-bore or square-bore carburetors without adapter. Will not fit under stock Corvette hood.

Edelbrock gives this warning assuming you are using all other stock components (3" tall air cleaner and stock base). Under those conditions, you won't have enough room. However, if you use a 2" tall air cleaner or different drop base, you will have about 1/4" to 1/2" of hood clearance.

68-72 std. hoods.
May not w/ stock air cleaner.
Many run the 2101 under 68-72 hoods. The 2601 & 2701 are about a 1/4" taller.
So a drop base would do it for 2601 & 2701 68-72 hoods.

I think it was Super Chevy a year or so ago tested a bunch of SB manifolds, amazing how the air gap dominated all but above 65k in HP and torque. Unless your running wide open all the time it is athe best choice, even with a super victor & killer heads. I have the Dart airgap on my 75, I had to run a 1/2 spacer to connect to the vacume under a 750 holly DP. I run an edlebrock low profile aircleaner with a 3" filter and it bumps the stock hood a touch(need new paint anyway) The dart airgap is slightly different than the airgap though, got it at a swap meet brand new, cool looking but I wish I had the edlebrock.
