sunburst emblem...
Some of you purists need to straighten me out here...I thought the logo emblem of the vette flags in the red sunburst as some call it started in 74???

73-4 had a nose red starburst w/ a black ring & lettering.
75-6 front & back.
The Corvette is a low volume car for GM & the emblems were an inexpensive way to id the new model.
Most if not all would agree you got the General thing right.

Thanks guys....Well I am not pimping these because I find them wicked overpriced ( 48.00 plus shipping for two keys and a key fob ) but the cheesy cool lover of tacky aftermarket in me just loves 'em,
My first 81 came with such a key and the plastic "jewel" came off after less than a years use,
So I run across these on Fleabay the other day but IMHO none of the vette ones are really the 69 logo/emblem which to me looks like the crossed flags they have on the sunburst one but it should have black or white background....the blue isn't bad...if you have a blue car....
