it is not a new carb design but a copy of Holley's 4010 series carbs, Holley discontinued selling them several years ago. In my opinion i would first look at Holley's Ultra Series street avenger or double pumpers, I have been very impressed by the metering block design and they have a jetting package that should work quite well with today's reformulated gasoline.

I hope this helps Henry @ olescarb
That's what I've been telling people who inquire about it. Some here will insist it's an all new design.
If it has anything in common with the 4010/4011 series..stay away.
Its a real nice carb,i had one and it worked great, super responsive, comes in double pumper, you will not blow out the power valves like the regular holley carbs when engine back fires, super easy to work on,not many gaskets to leak,You will love it.It is the old holley 4010 series that summit bought the rights to it and reworked it and made it a super carb.
How could it be "ready to go from the box" if they no nothing about your application? Your engines cubic inches, heads, intake manifold, compression ratio, transmission type and a host of other details are going to determine your airflow requirements, jet requirements, etc.
Wet tested only means they put it on a flow bench and made sure the needle & seat shut off and ran the pump stroke to make sure it squirts.
