New vette purchased, upgrades needed
I have just bought a 69 coupe out of CA. It has a fresh built engine by the pervious owner, but has been built to suit CA low comp gas I am told. So before I ship back to New Zealand, thinking of a top end up grade. I have been thinking AFR 195, 65cc,( it has flat top pistons) and some more cam 240 ish @50, 500-520 lift.(comp cams, solid flat tapped, not want to spend on a roller till I build a stroker or BB)this should wake it up over the iron smog heads it has ( not numbers match). All advice appreciated. According to comp cams cam software this should make 450ish hp, does this sound realistic ?
