I hate to break the news to you but driving a vette does not make you a target for the police. How your driving it and where you are drving it does make a difference. There is probably more to the story than has been told. There usually is...and some you were not aware of. El Paso is a major drug smuggling city. Do you know if a major crime had been committed and the description given by a witness matched you and your car? And then there is the attitude displayed by the driver. Most cops stop hundreds of cars a year.....most stops are fairly routine for them. If the guy was out of line then file a complaint with his department. All large police departments investigate complaints and take them seriously. Then next time you get stopped.....try saying things like yes sir,and no sir. Your experince will be more pleasant. Bad attitudes will generally cause an unpleasant response in anyone. Keep in mind the police do not make the laws they just enforce them.
