As you can see from my profile, I'm a new member, but I've been reading the posts for several months while looking for a good steel bumper C-3. I just bought a '72 Coupe....40,800 original miles....in GREAT condition, but just I've ran into a little problem that I could use help with.
The both turn signals work OK....until I turn the lights on. The the right turn indicator light in the tach glows and the right turn does not work. All the lights work, dim when on...bright when flashing or brakes applied. Before I start digging into the stock wiring harness (I don't want to Bubbasize it), has anyone run into this and can give me a couple of places to look first.
Check the bulbs. There might be the wrong one in there. They may need a two filament bulb and there is only a one filament bulb in there. If this is the case, they would work fine until you turn the lights on. That's why there are 2 filaments, one for turn sig and one for parking(running) lights.
Ok a wild guess but bad ground probably in the right front parking light/turn signal socket. Just because of what is affected all right hand side and frontend.
Good Luck
