Default 73 Horn Button

I have a 73 non tilt steering wheel with none of the horn button parts. Does anyone know where I can find an exploded view showing the parts & what order they go in. The AIM manual does'nt show me much. Thanks

You know.. this is a great idea for some good pics..

If you have up to the hub.. then this is what you should see...

Contact.

This is an aluminum stud that sticks up.. then you have the upper contact.

and there are three screws that hold it in..

But this would be a good project to take on and a question that I get all the time..

I'll have to put installing the upper horn contacts on the list of vids to do.

Thanks Willcox.... I do have the horn button & the ring part that the button snaps into. I don't have what you just showed. I still need some sort of exploded view of all the components in the order that they go on. Thanks for your help. Zeeth

See if this picture will help.

The steering wheel attaches to the hub with six screws.
Early steering wheel and hub attached to the steering column shaft with a washer and nut. (Washer shown on the above drawing.) Later assemblies no longer used the washer.
