There is no set date for early and late. There were many running changes in the 69 model year.

check your vin against the production numbers. The last 6 digits for 1969 run from 700001 to 738762. If it's at one end of these numbers you could say early or late....in the middle it's anyone's guess. As c69vette said, they made changes as the run went on.
