hey 63mako, yes real fun.had a short ride today
but i think i should pay real attention when trying hard acceleration through the 4 gears.today , sure that tires were warm enough, went quite hard in first gear and slightly lost the rear.I have been quite disappointed...
even if I have reduced the pressure at rear tires , I think I should wait the warm days with warm asphalt before do it again.my Avon tires need to be quite hot to stick.possibly drag radials are different...
I have also a street camber set up and when the rear squats...

Yesterday we had been out cruising in the vette all day, on the way home I decided to hammer it from a 20 mph roll and see how bad it would spin....normally it would just free wheel the rear tires as any speed under 30 mph...but with the MT drag radials, it dead hooked....not even a chirp. That was with 30 psi in them and no burnout(although they were hot from freeway driving).
I am leaving these tires on all the time. They flat work...

these are the Avon I use , 245/60/15, meant for road racing use. they have flat sidewalls like your , but sidewalls are stiffer than your.
last day running 27psi rear 30 front , I think I should go back to 30psi rear too. and find a quick way to take them close to operating temperature.last day , after 15 miles they were still almost cold...
1 big 1980's word "RAD" that car is sick.. I'm impressed with every thing on your build..... and your driving skills ain't to shabby either.... great job>>>>> I'm sitting here shaking my head over that run.. it launches very well for a stock platform... your right we do have twin motors.
