Have a noise coming from the bottom end and found out I need to put rod and main bearings.Question is can I pull the oil pan with the motor in the car please say yes.
Yes, but I doubt you can properly replace rod and main bearings with the engine in the car. If there is a rod knock then the rod bearing has probably spun and and the crank and the rod will need to be machined. That means removing them from the engine. Pretty hard to do with the engine in the car. You would be better served to rent/buy an engine stand and pull the engine from the car. Then you can work on it. Just my .02.

Yes you can BUT if they are making noise, I think the crank may need to be turned (reground). I would pull the pan and check the crank for damage and either mike the crank or use plastigage before I just put bearings in.
Drop the idler arm, crank the engine to TDC on # 6, remove the starter, after disconnecting the battery ground cable, remove the bell housing dust cover, and remove the oil pan, and then the oil pump, and then have a look. Could well be that you've spun a bearing and have done sufficient damage to crankshaft journal, to require removal of and regrinding of crankshaft, but you won't know unless you look.
Who knows, maybe you got really lucky, and you can 'get by' for a while, on a non-high performance engine, with simple clean up and emery cloth polish of crankshaft journal, and a new set of main and rod bearings. If you spun a rod bearing, very important to check main bearings for damage/wear.
