Rearend drian plug kit?

Rearend drian plug kit?

I know that the rearend does not have a drain plug...... but has anyone drilled and tapped for a plug? and if you did what size of drill,tap,plug did you use?

I drilled h hole and installed a M10 bolt when i "overhauled" my rear end. I tink it wil be difficult to do it unless you have it apart. Shears for rear end. Some god posts abaut it.

are you serious? I put a new spring in back there and was looking for the darn plug for an hour and didn't see one, now I know why maybe.

I've got an 80 vette, that year has no drain plug?

I am wondering if my 87 had a drainplug? I think it should right? I haven't looked yet, just got it last year and winter came disrupting everything with huge amounts of snow.

Corvette Central has a kit developed by Corvette Clinic that installs a drain plug without removing the differential. Part number 582267. I used one on my 79.
