Drivers side mirror
Hi,
The rubber well washers keep on ripping out of the 2 holes for the side mirror. The inner panel is closed up. There is no metal plate behind the 2 holes for the 2 screws. Can I cut a small hole in the inner door panel, behind the door panel, so I can get a threaded plate with nuts attached, with the window up, so I can attach the 2 screws then close the hole up? The door panel covers the inside door panel so it will never be seen.
I am sick of the mirror falling off the car and I am lucky that it has always fallen off in my back yard on the grass so it wasn't damaged.
