Default Borgeson conversion install question.

I'm installing the Borgeson power steering conversion into a non power steering vette. My question is " Do I remove the steering damper set up and all the brackets which went along with it? Thanks

I never have seen a steering dampner on a C3 Vette only C2 models. I would remove it for the sake of simplicity, are you shure it isn't an old power steering cylinder?

Before I added power steering to my 68, it had a dampner. It will not be needed with the new steering box

Thanks, I called Borgeson, They said to remove it. I kind of th ought it would need to be removed because the pitman arm would not fit with the steering damper there. Thanks.

Randy, what is the part number of the unit you got? It was a kit right?

Yes, it's a kit. Sort of. The kit itself doesn't have a part number, but the components do. I'll get the numbers for you tonight
