I'm starting to get a whine/squeek from one of the accessories.
What do you do to find out which one it is? Start taking belts off
and eliminate sources?
Adam, Your starting to be high maintance. I use to have that sqeal coming from my power steering belt that I never could solve. Try some of the belt quiet spray first. Also check the alignment of the pulleys. Sometimes the bolts to the accessaries loosen up and cant the accessory to one side which can cause a nasty noise at high revs.
Are you going to go to the next Speedworks dyno day? Maybe we can get all the C-3'ers together and hang out that day.

I'm beginning to think that too!
I think my car wants it engine pulled and rebuild :D
Too bad I don't have the time or the money now...
When's the speedworks day? Dynoing a perfectly plain engine wouldn't
gain too much, I'd have to do a little work first, fixing all these
problems.... But, I wouldn't mind stopping by...
So what do you do if nothing is loose and a spray doesn't help?
It's April 26th and should be a good time. I'm not dynoing either, but it is fun to see the cars on the dyno screaming a 6000 rpms.
I could be a bad bearings in the alternator, mis-aligned pulley, A/C clutch going out, many things. You are going to have to listen close or use the screw driver to the ear method. Point end to the motor, of coarse.
I know a guy that is selling a 383 roller motor for $4,000. I think it runs 10's in his Vega.
