Default LED Tail Lights- problems

OK this is too simple to not work right....

I bought the LED tail lights & and a LED flasher w/ ground wire from Ecklers. Changed the flasher and installed the new tail lights and one side acted like it was wired backwards, in other words it was on for brake and running lamp when only the lights were swithced on and when you step on the brake that one goes to low intensity; the other side works fine excedpt the blinkers do not work on either side. I thought it was the one tail lamp so I called Ecklers and they sent me another one. Just installed it and same problem! I put the old flasher back in with the LED tail lamps and the problem is still there. I removed the LED tail lights and put the old bulbs back in and it works fine with the original flasher, including the blinkers.

What am I doing wrong???? Are you supposed to change the front park/turn lamps to LED as well to make it work?

I'll call Eckler's tomorrow but hoping you guys can help me first.
Thanks in advance for the help!

Light intensity with original incandescent bulbs can be hard to tell apart. I'm guessing the 2 wires going to LED bulbs need to be swapped out one triggers more LED's for brighter lights, other lights less LED's for normal rear tail lamps. Try swapping lenses with right hand side that works correctly, if the y work OK on working side, you need to swap wires.

I went with LED front marker/turn signal bulbs so I needed grounded electronic flasher because LED's don't have the electrical current draw to trigger conventional flasher (won't heat the bi-metallic point set in a normal flasher unit.) The electronic flasher should work with noral bulbs in the front lamps. Do you have it properly grounded?

You may also want to check the tail lamp housing grounds to the frame and make sure they have a good connection.

I didn't know the tail light housings had grounds, I'll start there and do some swapping. Thanks for the tip!

3 wires to each taillight- brown is tail, black is ground and either yellow or green for turn signals/stop lights depending on right or left.
