I much prefer the 9" Ford diff over the weaker 12-bolt and have thought about fabbing up something like this myself. Perhaps this is my answer. Plus Tom's setup has too deep of gearing for me with the 540 I'm building. AND the 9" is a lot less $$$!

5000-10000 bucks for a center section???? Heck no! I am fabbing up mine as we speak for my 1700hp big single turbo BBC.
Strange engineering is in the middle of custom making my axles right now as we speak. Once I Got them and make sure they work, I can give you the part number.

Only 1700 hp, huh. Are you doing that with the Gen 6 block in the pictures? Post pics when you get the wings installed.
Is that center housing one of the dutchman units or someone elses?
nope, its getting a dart block, that just there for mock up. The nine inch there is just a housing with the axle tubes cut off, and a spring perch fabbed up.

Yes, Please do.
When you get a minute, if you have measurements/pics/sketches of your center section detail, I wouldn't mind having a look see if you don't mind.
those Harrop guys have got some neat stuff. somebody ought to adapt their "Commodore" mounting to the C3. geez, they got a 12-Bolt Commodore, Ford 9" Commodore diff housings. and that's just for the Australian market. with what it costs for the custom 12-bolt C3 diff, seems like somethings missing.

I wonder if Harrop has a suggestion box...
