Anyone ever put resonators on chambered exhaust to tone them down a little? My wife says they are too loud for her to drive-
My understanding is that in the chambered exhaust the chambered part are resonators. On mine I have 2 18 inch resonators on my 2.5 inch Chambered exhaust. I am adding two more 18 inchers when my headers go on (hopefully) Saturday. I understand more resonators or longer ones will tone it down a bit.
Have a chambered 2.5" form Allens, Like 81pilot said, I have in the middle two ( one on each side) about 24" and at the back two 18" sounds great
Mine is a tad loud on heavy throttle, but I just have 2 of the 18 inchers in the middle. 2 more 18 inchers are going behind my headers when they go on, it should sound about right then.

Where do you get two to go on up frt behind the headers? I have the ones in the rear and not anything up frt. just plain pipe from the manifold back to rear of the transmission.?????

Mine is a complete custom built 2.5 inch setup. My buddy and his dad had a shop till his dad passed, he took the inventory home and is selling it off, I got them from him. He will sell you a couple if you would like, if he has anymore. I will PM you with his email if you need it.
