Ok, had a little problem last night
My Accel 8mm wires were falling apart.....heat ? :mad
Anyways, one wire blew apart (while driving) check under the hood,
went to change the plugs and another boot tore in half -ouch-
So here's my dilemma :
My block is a '70s model (396, 454 ?) and it has R45TS plugs, orig. coil ignition system (points), so what aftermarket wires can I use that will last ?
Right now (temporary), I'm using a few Borg-Warner 7mm wires in place of the broken ones - :U
Taylor wires ??? ...what are you guys using ??? :hat
I had the same problem with the premium MSD wires. I went through two sets and then bought the Ceramic booted wires from Jacobs. They cost 3 times as much, but they are guaranteed for life and I have not had any more problems.
