Thanks for any help you can give me. Bill
It would be nice if someone could desktop dyno your existing combo, and then the one with this cam to see the difference's.
Good Luck.
Obviously a single pattern cam will work, but it isnt optimum.

If your current cam runs good why are you changing it? looking for more power, diff idle quality, rpm range change?

If you know what you have it is easy to move to to another step.
I've been around for a bunch of years and gone to a bunch of car show-n-shines. There is always the car owners that don't know a damn thing about cars or how they run, but they want the sound and they want to be revving it up and down for everybody to hear. Well sadley most of those cars really don't perform worth a damn and some car shop has sepperated some mindless fat wallet owner out of his cash to give him just what he wanted!

almost like desktop dyno ?
Don't know how accurate it is , ran a few combos and managed to get a projected 580hp out of my 327 NA..no blower , no nitrous ...LOL

It runs great. People are blown away (pun intended) with how nice it drives, and say wow wow wow wow for hours after a ride. Even with the boost turned down to 3 psi there is no low end bog. At 6psi, it's a handful to say the least.
I've ran all the Nitrous HP's (144 blower, 400 sbc, 190 AFR, 7 psi) except 12-564-4. Low end power with these cams in an automatic 5300 pound 4X4 was never a problem, I even towed an 1850 Lund Tyee with all of these cams.
I ran a 350sbc AFR 190s with the 292 Magnum with 1.6 rockers. I'd say that was the nastiest sounding of all the cams. I never thought there was an issue with low end power.
I'm just sharing my experience, I'm not saying I'm any form of an expert.
Gkull is right many motors are built stricktly for sound and presence and do not perform.
Driveshaft is correct in many advise on split pattern cams.
I'm still experimenting, and haven't found a bad cam that lacked driveability or low end power from any of the ones I listed. Blowers must cover up poor cam selection rather well.
