Yes another WIPER MOTOR question
I'm in the process of re-assembly. Today I installed the wiper motor and wiper transmission there is no interior in the car with the exception of ALL the harness's. So when I tried testing the wiper motor by using the actual wiper switch console (grounded) and pressing the plunger on the fire wall at passenger side it would not work. The over-ride little console was also pluged in and when turning the dial the wipers worked but only on high speed when switching the switch to OFF position it would just go into that wanting to park but just click after click and won't stop. I did ground the motor, wiper switch console and the solenoid at the back of tach directly with jumpers.
The yellow wire is getting 12v(At the Plug in wiper motor with the BLUE/YELLOW/GREEN)
I DID NOT have 12v at the RED leed wire not sure if I'm suppost to when the motor is istalled in the car on a 1971(with key on and switch on)
The wiper motor was tested prior to the installation using WILLCOX video and other threads (worked as it should)
I did varify all my conections are plugged correctly.
What have I over-looked? Any ideas?
Next go to the help and repair file on 68-72 wiper motors and you'll find the readings for each of the three wipers in which position posted there (I think on the last page).

This won't fix your problem but it will tell you where the problem is.
I believe you have an issue with the green and the blue wires at the 1-2-3 connection.
Willcox
I noticed that I had over looked in pluging in the wiper-relay located under the center console. Problem solved pluged it to my raw harness and it works perfectly LOW,HIGH speed and park.
WILLCOX thanks for all the help you have provided on this forum.
