Hey Guys, i'm in the market for TA's, and i was wondering if anyone knew all the vendors. I know of Ecklers, Vettebrakes, and Bair's.
I'm not too fond of Ecklers as some of y'all have had shady experiences with them.
Vettebrakes sells the H.D. for $400/pair.
Bair's sells similar TA's to the ones Mentioned above for $350/set. So far i am impressed with their service, and everyone has good things to say about their products.
Is there another company that i am not aware of? Just trying to do some research before i lay down the cash. Thanks!
Jenny, I purchased a set of off-set T/A from Ecklers , when I ordered them I asked for a discount and the guy gave me 50 bucks off. 349.00 total price. Delivery was prompt and in great shape. :) Rick
What not go straight to the source: www.vettebrakes.com they make their own stuff which is used by many other vendors like Eckler's etc.
I ordered mine from Eckler's 4 months ago and finally three weeks ago I got everything here! It took 1.5 moth to get the OS TAs here I called them and asked them what is taking so long and they said that their supplier had run oout of stock, so I asked who supplies theír Trailing arms, vette brakes, so I called vette brakes and they said they had plenty of them in stock ready to be shipped! Well who's complaining I've had many nice experiences with Eckler's before, so I'll forgive them this time. :blueangel:
I don't know whether Vette Brakes & Products is making their own trailing arms now, but at one time Van Steel was the original manufacturer of all that were being sold. The units are good stuff; nice and beefy and with good quality bushings.
