Default 69 vette brakes

Ater driving the 69 vette for maybe 30 miles , the brakes pedal starts to stick. The brake light will stay on. I have to pull up on the pedal with my toe. Brakes are new in the last couple of years. Could it be air in the system or maybe the brake booster ???? Thnx Dave

air in the system would give you spongy pedal, you have no problems stopping? are you sure the switch doesnt need adjusting? can you push the car in neutral when the brake light is on? this would prove your calipers are not sticking. have you tried spraying the brake pedal pivot point with some lubricant?

Probably the booster. I had the same problem in my '66, except mine did it all the time. Sent the booster out for rebuild. Problem solved.
