can anyone tell me if patriot heads are any good,or recommend a good street performance head thanks.

Run..... Don't hide!!!!! From what I have read they are bad heads..... If you are looking for an inexpencive head with good flow, take a look at the world sportsman II ...I M running them and have over 440hp at the rear wheels out of my 383


Do a search on the forum about the patreaot heads... Mostly bad

I was told by the speed shop to stay away from them as well, the guides and springs are junk. They do use good valves though.

Again, depends on your budget, Vortec will probably be the best bang for the buck, but if you want to spend a little more the AFR 195's, Like on my car, Cam
