Ok almost got it but one last problem I can't diagnose.
The car starts instantly when I put some gas on top of the carb but it won't pull gas on it's own. There is fuel in all the lines up untill the carb filter. Even when I pull the carb to filter line it still has a little bit of gas in it.
There Is plenty of gas, 350 auto with a qjet up top. Oem fuel pump. Any other details needed?
Well, I don't know much about the condition of the car, so..... First thing i would suggest is to change your fuel filter. Simple and cheap. Drain your fuel tank and check for water and/or rust. If that doesn't work, it's time to check fuel pressure and volume. Hope this helps- Jeff
Fuel pressure would be my guess. Have you checked to see how much pressure it is pushing?
Also, with the air cleaner off, can you pull the throttle linkage and see if it is spraying nice even streams of fuel? You may have a clogged up carb with no fuel getting to the jets, or your jets may be obstructed.
It seems that you are looking for an easy fix, what you need to do is listen to the advice you are being given. You have to properly troubleshoot a problem, not just turn the fuel pressure up. Check the basics. Is the fuel in your tank contaminated? Is your fuel system supplying the required amount of fuel? If the car starts when you manually introduce fuel into the carb, then you either have a fuel delivery problem, or your fuel is bad. Please go check and let us know. If you need help on the methods, we're here for you. Good luck- Jeff
