Default Steeroid install help (w/ pics)

No matter what I do, I cannot seem to get the steering shaft to stop hitting the header. Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks,

Jon

Yes I installed a Steeroids on a 77 with sidepipes and had to dimple the header at that point. Just slightly but it did clear now. Take into consideration the engine moves and the headers will move some when heated. You will need more than just a slight clearance.

If memory serves on the Speed Direct website there is a list of what headers will fit on a Vette with the R&P setup that dont have clearance issues.
