Steering box worm gear bearings
Does anyone have a Timken/SKF/NSK etc. catalog number for the type of ball thrust bearings and races that are used in the steering box at either end of the worm gear?
I have a need for some of these bearings on their own, rather than a full rebuild kit, so I want to see if I can get them from a UK bearing supplier.
Thanks in advance!

Excellent, thanks muchly!
I've had a look at that number on the bearings direct site - I'm trying to work out what the manufacturer name is on the photo of the bearing, but without much luck. Are these US made, do you know???

My guess like anything else today China. I have no idea where they are made. But bearing numbers are the same. One thing they did that was right
It says BCA which is Bower bearing. But that dosen't really tell you anything

OK thanks guys,
I've got no problem with Chinese bearings IF they're good quality, but of course there's really only one way to find that out, and that's to take a gamble and try them. One advantage is that this isn't a particularly stressed location.
Cheers!
