what style hood is it?
i was just wondering if someone could help me with some info. on hoods,i have a 76 sting and want a bigger hood cowl and have been told by my dad that a 71 with a big block had a big cowl on it,is this true?i called a gm dealer today and the parts guy told me there were two different hoods in 71 a normal hood like mine and a different hood for the 350 hi-po and 454 engine but are discontinued from gm.if i was to find this hood or after market will it still bolt on to my car because if not i am going to get my buddy at the body shop in my town to raise the cowl on my hood and reglass and paint it for about 650 canadian.

stroked 76- check out Eckler's. I think they make aftermarket '70 BB hoods for the mid '70's vettes. http://www.ecklers.com

stroked, Look at the vanacore websight http://www.vanacorvette.com I have never bought anything from them so I can't vouche for the quality. Is that the way you spell vouche?????? any way you know what I mean.
