Default Edelbrock

I have two Edelbrock carborators.
One is the performer type. 1407. 750 cfm.
The other is a thunder serie 1813, 800 cfm.
My car is a corvette C3 1969, 427 big block.
The intake manifold is a Edelbrock Torker II.
I wonder wich of the carborators are best to use
and what is the difference.

The primary difference is the Thunder Series has adjustable air valve secondaries. It really makes no difference unless you need precise tuning for performance. For street driving it offers little. Just some added flexibility which you may or may not need.

Depending on whether your driving strictly street or strip, that Torker II may not be the best intake for you...fine for all out high rpm running, but doesn't have the best idle manners or the best low rpm torque...a dual plane intake would be better for that.

I would sell them both and have a Q-Jet built to your engine's specifications.

Who can built a Q-jet to my engine ?
Can I keep the intake ?
I dont have hood clearance for dual plane intake, and want to have the original hood.
