couple questions

alright where to start i have a 79 vette. i need to know what side of the engine the accesories are bolted i cant remember from when i pulled the old engine...... also im in the process of rebuilding another 350 to put in it and i have been told i need to adjust the valves just right or it will wipe my cam, anyone who knows how to do this exactly i would greatly appreciate the info..... also i have a holley 650 cfm carb that is missing the "butterfly" anyone know where i can get one...

power steering pump,lower drivers side. Altenator upper drivers side...a/c compressor,upper passenger side

so since both heads have the accesorie holes i need the one with the 3 on the drivers side and the one with only 1 on the passenger. right?
