Good tremec installation thread?
I've been searching the forums, and have not been able to find a basic step-by-step Tremec install thread. I did this once already about 4 years ago, but have had my engine out for a rebuild, and am preparing to reinstall it soon. I cut my crossmember to make it removable the first time around, which is the only way to go as far as I'm concerned. The best thing about round 2 is that I will be reinstalling the transmission and engine as a single unit, and can mate the transmission to the engine befored dropping it back into the car. I need a refresher on dial indicating the bellhousing, including the acceptable tolerances for how close to on center I need to be. Can anyone point me to a writeup somewhere here on the forum (or elsewhere for that matter)?
Thanks!
