I've got linelock at my house Mike, I've just never got around to installing it. You don't really need it. I can do huge burnouts with just holding the brake.
Oh yeah, I'm gonna try to go to the track Wednesday if you wanna come. I bought slicks and rims, an electric fan and an electric water pump. Now I've just got to get it all iinstalled and wired!

I installed a line lock on mine. It makes heating the tires up much easier and it is less taxing on the brakes. It is a pretty easy install. You push the brake down push the button and it keeps pressure in the front brakes only. You can just sit and heat the tires. If you have slicks this is the only way to really get some heat in them.
Linelock are easy to install. They need a source of 12volts, a switch, a couple of flare to pipe adaptors and a short piece of brake line. If you are unsure how about mounting it, hooking up the wiring then taking it to a garage and have them plumb it in and bleed the brakes.
As a safety note you can apply the line lock then push the brake pedal and it will not restrict pressure going through it towards the wheel, just trying to return from the wheel. If you by mistake push the button then try applying the brakes they will still function normally to lock the front wheels. They will just not come off when you release the pedal. The button must be released.
This how I installed my line lock. It's the TCI line lock from summit racing. All I did was pick up from AutoZone one straight thread to flare input & one 90 degree brass thread to flare and a 6 inch flare tubing. You take the front brake line off of the master cylinder and hook it into the LL output 90 degree brass. I gently bent the tubing 90 degrees in my hands and attached it.
The 79's have a firewall rubber grommet to pass a wire through to the fuse box where you use a open slot for 12 volts.
Barrels of fun and it's the only way to heat up slicks.
Note the custom zip tie looms for "Taylor 409" 10.4mm wires.
