mini starter pinion depth
my starter doesnt work right.
the gear from the starter only works on the half gear from the flywheel.
it seems that the starter shaft is to short.
with shims there is nothing you can do.
where is the problem??

From: Who says "Nothing is impossible" ? I've been doing nothing for years.
Half tooth engagement is OK I had less than 1/4 tooth and never installed the starter, I think it is because I have a lightweight flywheel and they have to take metal off somewhere. You can't shim the tooth depth only the distance between the gears
