Power door locks
Went outside to move the PC out of the shop today and let it get some air. (had to work on my truck) Got inside and went to let the window down, accidently hit the door lock switch (its been awhile since I drove it) doors locked, pushed the switch again to unlock it and nothing happened. Same thing for both sides. Will not unlock. Finally got my fat fingers around the **** enough to unlock it. Pushed the switch again, doors locked but when you push it to unlock nothing happens, is this a relay or something going bad? I just went through all the door and console wiring harness awhile back and installed new power locks - dont feel like taking it all apart again to troubleshoot

The switches are dependent on each due to the way they are wired. Ive found if the switches are old or original its best to replace both at the same time. You can buy them at Autozone for about 10 bucks each from the Help section.

Here's the circuit diagram for the door locks. I would look for a bad connection in one of the common wires that goes to both switches.

When you take it apart, check the connector on the back of the switch. Mant times this connector comes apart due to age. You can buy replacement connectors, just splice them into your harness.
