You may want to check Harbor Freight. They have good prices on tools that you may need just on occasion.

Last year a forum member posted this link where he bought a dial indicator and base.

I went ahead and bought one from them for checking my rotors and am happy with it as well. Magnet is pretty strong and will not move once its' set up.

Littlemachineshop has some pretty nice stuff. I have purchased a lot from them over the last several years. You can also get pretty decent Dial Indicators (and lots more) at Grizzly.com.

A couple of good options:

.
http://www.grizzly.com/products/Magn...ombo-pk-/H3022
.
I have a couple around and they are surprisingly good!

I have to do. I was looking for a setup like this locally and could not
find it and was going to have to search online for one. Thanks to the
members of this great forum my day has become a lot easier.

Thanks Guys.

Those are good prices. I'm going to have to place an order for one myself.

Not correct - that's for resurfacing them. O/P was referring to MEASURING the runout which is a DIAL INDICATOR.
