Going to try to find the time to remove the P/S Valve off the wifes 76 today. We have had the Corvette 20+ years and know its never been off. Any advice or suggestions? Looks like it would be easier to take the pitman arm off with it.
Thanks in advance for any and all help.

I removed the valve from my '76 a few years ago. I used a pickle fork to break the connection to the pittman, disconnected the hoses at the valve, and unscrewed the valve. I think I removed the front wheel, and turned the steering wheel close to lock to get a better angle with the pickle fork. Turned out to be a simple job. Good time to replace the hoses!
