Default Carb Decisions, Help Me Make One.

What I am building is a 350 bored .030 with a Comp Cams valve train including a xe262 and 1.52 rockers. 23 Degree heads.

I have been told to get the Holley Street Avenger carb by me Father in Law, he`s helping with the rebuild.

I was thinking about the Barry Grant Road Demon.

I also thought about having the original Rochester rebuilt.

Give me some opinions. Both aftermarket carbs seem easy to adjust. I may even step up to a bigger cam sometime in the future.

well, 1st choice and cheapest have Lars rebuild the Q-jet. The Speed Demon has gotten rave reviews here and I think they are pretty :D . Don't have an opinion on the avenger, sorry.

I would advise you to speak with Lars about the Rochester first. He will shoot straight and ask him about carb size, if you choose to go with an aftermarket carb. Too many of us buy a carb that is not sized poperly for our motors, usually too big.
