Default Chassis repair !

Is it possible to change the rear bottom crossmember and the two ends of the side rails without moving the body ? Thanks.....

I did a lot of frame repairs over the last few years, and two of the major ones were #3 crossmember / endrail / kick up intersection but I did all of mine with the body off. If you notice enough rust in this area to warrent a big repair, you can be sure there are other areas that will need attention. I have posted a few pic on photobucket, but have a lot more detailing the repait. If you decide to go at it, let me know and I will help anyway I can .

Thank you,very nice of you....Actually it's my friend who bought a 71.After drilling him on what to look for,the urge to get a car blurred his vision and he did anyway.Now it's reality time.I was just trying to do a little homework for him.Trying to keep him from lifting the body if he doesn't have too.I know that will just bring up a whole bunch of new things to do.Take care Mario
