Factory Exhaust question
I have a 1976 L-48 Corvette. I put a factory exhaust back on the car. Can't find the rear exhaust hanger anywhere. It is the one that bolts onto the frame just behind the cat. Any idea who makes one and where to buy it?

I don't have the original...it wasn't on the car when I bought it.
Zip has one for 1978 and up but nowhere else has the one for the back listed. The front and center are available but not the rear.

Your probably going to have get one from a Corvette Parts yard. What you will find is the metal bracket is ok and the rubber attaching arms are rotted. As long as you can get the correct metal piece than you can make the rubber attaching arms. What I did was use a commercial truck tire that had a six ply sidewall rating. I used a fine tooth hacksaw to cut the sidewall. I then got some rivets that closely matched the old ones. Drilled out the old ones and installed the new rubber mounts.
