TH350 transmission kickdown adjustment question
I just replaced my Quadrajet with a Holley Street Avenger. I bought an adjustable cable linkage mount, but have not been able to find a setting on the kickdown cable that will make the transmission go into passing gear. It had no problem with the Quadrajet. Anyone know the secret of setting the cable to make the kickdown work?

Hold the carbuerator accelarator all the way open and adjust the kickdown cable until the slack is gone. I had the same problem when I initially installed a Lokar kickdown cable to my 350 automatic.
