Bleeding brakes...new lesson learned
After o-ringing rear calipers and bleeding my brakes I noticed the pedal seemed to drop an inch before engaging. Just thought the bleeding didnt take since I was using those self bleed screws. After two bleeds and knowing I had done everything correct still same pedal.
After closer inspection I saw the brake pedal rod has a lock nut for adjustment of the pedal. This nut was loose and the rod was free to rotate from vibration. Once adjusted the pedal is nice and tight. I didn't know that pedal adjustment existed and had never heard anyone talk about it before. FYI
