Default Cig lighter

My cig lighter keeps blowing the 20amp fuse every-time I plug it in?? Any suggestions??? C3 1969 coupe 350-350

plug it in? do you mean whenever the lighter is pushed into the socket? if that's the case, it's probably just a shorted lighter. if it's whenever you attach the power lead to the unit, it's a shorted unit. you can get a generic replacement at advanced auto for about $8 or an exact duplicate from the suppliers for about $25.

Do you know what color wire attaches to the cig lighter?

It's the orange wire and yes its when plugged in the back
