Transmission???
Hi I own a 198o L-82 corvette.
When I bought the car it has a Tubo 350 transmission in it. It does not have a lock up converter. I have been doing some research and my car came equipped with a THC 350 with lock up converter. Does any one know where I can get a THC 350 transmission delivered to my house?
And what would you think would be a good price.
I did some research and traced the wiring on the harness in the car it has a 1 wire which went to the THC 350 with Lock out converter for automatic transmission. I have ordered the wire plug now I need the tranny

Are you trying to go back all original? If I were replacing mine, I would look at one with overdrive like 200-4R or 700R4. I believe both have lock-up TCs. There are a lot of post about pros/cons of each that you may want to look at if interested. I'm planning to upgrade mine with 200-4R.

where in your research did you come across a "THC" 350? I cannt find any reference to it, only the normal TH 350. Did you check the code stamped on your current transmission? If you go to this site you will find the codes for 1980
