NEVER MIND..DUH! RIGHT THERE ON TOP!!!
OK, I haven't really researched this, but is there a nut on the steering box to adjust out slight side-to-side slop in the steering wheel??

I'd advise reading jim Shea's steering papers at corvettefaq.com before trying to adjust the steering box. It's very tempting to just tighten that top screw until the steering is tight but you can damage the steering box internals that way. There is a way to adjust the steering box while it is installed but there are actually 2 possible adjustments that need to be done.
